Volunteering Roles

There are many ways to get involved in Fellowship Kids.

Director – Directs and interacts with puppets, characters and the kids in the theme based large group environments.

Actor – Portrays a character that interacts with kids in the theme based large group environments.

Puppeteer – Portrays characters through the use of puppetry.

Tech operator – Operates lighting, sound, computer and cameras in large group environments.

Mentor – Focuses on building relationships and connecting with kids by using the provided curriculum and supplies to facilitate discussions, activities, and projects to guide kids in learning and in fun.

Small Group Teacher – Connects and builds relationship with preschoolers through teaching and storytelling.

Small Group Leader – Works with the small group teacher to engage preschoolers in games and fun activities that enhance learning.

Small Group Helper – Assists by interacting with children through play and activities.

Large Group Teacher – Guides the learning of preschoolers through storytelling, interacting with puppets and other activities.

Worship Leader – Lead songs and model worship for children.

Welcome Desk Worker – Connect with new families by checking their children into Fellowship Kids.

Hallway Host – Help direct guests to rooms and provide help where needed in the rooms.

Creative Team – Design and create large and small scale items used in various environments.

Support Team – Help during the week to maintain and organize rooms and materials.

Diaper Diva – helps the nursery and preschool leaders by going from room to room and changing diapers or taking children to the restroom. Tiara and apron provided.
